Dennis Cross is a recognized leader and innovator in direct marketing distribution channels. As the senior officer for marketing, sales, and services of USAA Life and USAA Investment Management Company, he was responsible for the growth of these organizations to their positions of industry leadership.
Prior to joining USAA, Mr. Cross was Project Director of the Life Insurance Marketing and Research Association (LIMRA), where he served more than 40 companies, including American United, Century Life, Lutheran Brotherhood, and ManuLife.
Mr. Cross has served as a board or committee member for LIMRA, the Mutual Fund Educational Alliance, and the Investment Company Institute. Most recently, he was a member of the board of directors and Chief Operating Officer of Jackson National Life and its mutual fund subsidiary.
Mr. Cross offers more than 25 years of financial services experience, developing and working with a wide range of products, services and distribution channels in the life, annuity, mutual fund, and discount brokerage areas. He is in worldwide demand as an industry speaker, including for the ACLI Executive Round Table and Annual Meetings.
Mr. Cross holds a BS degree in insurance from Illinois Wesleyan University, and an MBA degree in marketing and insurance from Indiana University, as well as the designations of Chartered Life Underwriter and a Fellow of the Life Management Institute.
